Our Annual Calendar Planning Meeting will be held at the Causeway branch of the St Tammany Public Library (in the shopping center across from St. Timothy) THIS SATURDAY, August 29th from 9 til noon. Please bring you calendar and your ideas for a fun year! 

Troop 119 will be moving to Scoutbook Plus for communication and calendar and will discontinue use of the troop website. 

If you are attached to your scout in both platforms, you should receive message regarding the change via the Troop site and via Scoutbook; if you do NOT receive the message via Scoutbook (it will have BSA imaging in the email) please contact jillabarnes@yahoo.com so we can troubleshoot ASAP. 

The Court of Honor has been moved to Tuesday, September 8th due to conflicts with school events on 8/25.

Troop 119 is shifting communications and calendar maintenance from this website to ScoutBook Plus.

Please follow the instructions at the email sent by Jill on 3/10 to ensure you continue to receive info and stay current!

Troop 119 has an immediate need for more trained Assistant Scoutmasters. There is an upcoming opportunity for training on May 2-3 in Hammond at the RenFest Grounds.

Volunteer Outdoor Leader Training for adults is available January 23-25, 2026 at Hood Scout Reservation in Hazlehurst, MS.

Attending will earn you the coveted "Trained" patch, while supporting the troop! We must have trained adults on each campout ~ and it's fun!
